small jackpots don't exist
Last year's record breaking billion dollar Powerball jackpot earned so much publicity it actually ended up hurting lottery sales. In short, after seeing a billion won, people actually started believing there are some jackpots too "small" to be worth playing for. Which is completely illogical considering Powerball starts at $40 million.
The insight was so simple it was almost comical: $40 million dollars is a shit ton of money.
There's no such thing as a small jackpot.
As a matter of fact, they don't exist.
This was the winning campaign for the intern project chosen by the client and McCann creatives.
